Description
Coniferous plywood is made of softwood and is relatively lightweight. Such plywood is most often made of pine which ensures attractive appearance, sufficient strength and light weight of the plywood. Plywood can also be found on the road: it is used for billboards and road signs. They are made of water-resistant plywood. Another important use of plywood sheets is to install a separating layer between parquet and concrete screed. Such solution ensures additional noise and heat insulation and makes it easier to install block parquet on subflooring. For bedding, moisture-resistant plywood 15-20 mm thick is used. The parquet plywood is placed onto dry, even and clean concrete screed. Sheets are cut into squares 40-60 cm on sides and then laid with joints stepped. Gaps of 2-4 mm between squares and at least 10 mm between walls and squares shall be provided. The sheets are glued and secured to the concrete with dowel-screws, 12 to 16 pieces per m2.
