The range of applications for timber I-beams is rather wide. Due to their dimensional stability, high strength and ability to withstand considerable both transverse and longitudinal loads, the use of composite I-beams is reasonable for:

• Flooring and slabbing for frame buildings;
• Block and foam concrete slabbing; owing to installation sleeves used, we can proceed to blockwork before the installation of beams is completed;
• Wooden I-beams show excellent results in brickwork houses, and owing to special mounting hardware the beams can be attached to walls without inserting the ends in the structure.
• And, of course, the best and most comfortable use of the beams is slabbing in timber or log houses. Here you have full swing in selecting installation methods, easy adjustment and excellent combination of erection accuracy and speed. Wooden I-beams are also used for roofing. This is where they show their advantages in full, owing to their dimensional stability under any changes in humidity.
