Description
A tyrot is a tie bolt used to create detachable structures when installing formwork for concrete pouring. It is a steel rod with a trapezoidal thread that, paired with wing nuts and washers, tightens the formwork panels, supporting the pressure of the concrete mix. After the concrete has cured, the tyrot is removed, leaving a hole in the structure that is sealed with special plugs.
